Floris Chardonnay

Domaine Naturaliste Floris Chardonnay is sourced from the estate's sustainably farmed vineyard at the cool southern end of Margaret River, just seven kilometres inland from the Indian Ocean.

The handpicked grapes ferment in French oak barriques. These smaller barrels provide a high ratio of oak contact to the volume of wine. The lees are stirred fortnightly to add complexity and texture. Malolactic fermentation is restricted.

The wine matures for 10 months in the same one third new French oak barriques. Floris exhibits delicate textures and floral notes. reminiscent of white jasmine flowers.

Bright yellow, Domaine Naturaliste Floris Chardonnay has fresh fruit flavours, firm acidity and precise minerality. Cellaring potential is five years.
